New Ed.D. Curriculum Coming!
The College of Education has just approved a new Ed.D. curriculum. The proposal is now in the University’s approval process and should be approved this spring.
We will be holding information sessions in late February or early March. Applications will be due April 1st and the GRE is NOT required for this program. We suggest you attending an information session to learn about the Learning Communities of Practice that will be the foundation for the new curriculum. Kathleen Haywood received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Washington University then returned to Washington University to complete a Master of Arts in Physical Education. She earned her Ph.D. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in motor behavior from the University of Illinois in 1976. She has been at UM-St. Louis since 1976. She has been the Director of Graduate Studies for the College of Education since 1993 and an Associate Dean since 1995. Professor Haywood is active in the North American Society for Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity and has received the Central District Scholar Award and Mabel Lee Award from the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education.
