Digital Media Festival (DMF)

Welcome to the Digital Media Festival!

With the recent advances in technology and social networking, it is imperative to integrate these two components in classrooms around the world.  We are incorporating the submission process and judging all online.

The Digital Media Festival (DMF) is designed to be an event that showcases and rewards strong digital video or interactive media examples in education. It provides students and teachers in the St. Louis region and abroad with an authentic outlet for their work, transcending chalkboards allowing for an opportunity to collaborate with others.

Please take some time to read through the details of this program to see if you would like to participate. Questions about the program can be directed to our DMF coordinator at dmf@umsl.edu or call the TLC at (314) 516-4800 and ask for Alicia Boyd, DMF Coordinator.

Submission

The submission process will be performed online via Vimeo to allow entries to be viewed and rated by peers as well as DMF Judges.  There is a two step process: (1) uploading your video and (2) joining your respective category.

  1. Contestants must create an account on Vimeo
  2. Upload your video to your Vimeo account (it will take 30 minutes to convert after uploading)

  4. The sponsor will then register on DMF Registration
